- I was having some random disconnects with my USR Sportster 33.6
- modem a while back. I couldn't tell whether it was due to the
- modem, or software, or changes that were also happening at my
- Internet provider's end at that time.
-
- One night I noticed that the bottom of the Sportster was pretty hot.
- So I stuck four little rubber feet on the bottom of it that
- raised it off the table about 1/4 inch. That seemed to help.
-
- My connections are reliable now. But my disconnect problems
- could have been due to other factors. Has anyone else noticed
- whether heat is a problem with the Sportsters?
